JUMEIRAH SAADIYAT ISLAND RESORT
A sophisticated resort, like no other in the region, located at the prime beach of the Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, equipped with everything conveying a luxurious summer home experience.
Now being the first plastic-free hotel in the region, the resort ensures the safety and protection of the island habitat and thus has been providing the guests with complimentary reusable water bottles and eliminated the use of straws—all to reduce the use of single-use plastic.
They have also reserved a specialized beach area for the sea turtles to lay eggs, allowing their hatchlings to grow and live safely.
To aid in their sustainability journey, we were given the opportunity to create a water solution and install it inside and around the resort to allow the guests and resort staff to refill the reusable water bottles throughout the day. This provided everyone with clean and odorless water in addition to implementing a complete bottling system that enables the resort to clean and refill reusable water bottles before being distributed back to the rooms.
JEBEL ALI RESORTS
Jebel Ali Resorts is Dubai’s largest resorts, stands by its mission to be green friendly and more sustainable. They have been proactive in implementing solutions to help protect the environment and surrounding habitat. In 2019, they were labelled as “Dubai’s Most Sustainable 5 Star Resorts” by the Dubai Government.
Aiding in the journey to maintain sustainability across all JA hotels and resorts as they pledged to replace plastic bottles with reusable glass bottles, we were given the opportunity to provide JA The Resort’s Beach Hotel and JA Ocean View Hotel each a customized, complete bottling system that allows them to clean and refill these glass bottles before re-distributing them to the rooms. A filtration and dispensing solution were also provided to the prior two locations including JA The Resort’s Lakeview Hotel, JA Hatta Fort and JA Oasis Beach Tower.
